The Social Concerns Committee is a group of volunteers from Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church striving to enhance our own spirituality by giving back to our local community.

Our parishioners, many of Carpatho-Rusyn ancestry, travel up to 40 miles each way to our church, and are members of many needy communities where they live and work. We have chosen, however, to use what resources we have to contribute to the community near our church's location, which is our spiritual center.

Our selected charities are listed at the right, with web links. Each has been carefully selected. Each directly supports children, thesick, families in need or in crisis, or thehomeless. Please join us in helping them; please contribute your time or money.
